Author Guidelines

Overview

Pearl Academic Publishing welcomes original submissions that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. All submissions undergo peer review in accordance with our review process. Authors are expected to follow ethical standards as described in our Publication Ethics policy.

Submission Requirements

Draft Manuscript for peer review

• Blinded PDF file (author information removed) in the journal format

Camera-ready Manuscript for publication (after acceptance)

• Complete PDF file in the journal format
• Source document (Word or LaTeX) in the journal format
• Image files in high resolution
• Completed author declaration (copyright) form
• Supplementary materials (if applicable)

Manuscript Types and Length

We accept full research articles, work-in-progress papers, and case studies.

Format

We provide a manuscript template in LaTeX/Word format.

• The initial submission (for peer review) must use the provided template and be compiled as a PDF, without author names (blind peer review).
• After acceptance, the camera-ready version must be submitted both as a PDF file and with the source file in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX.

Structure

Manuscripts should include the following sections (rename as appropriate to article type):

• Title Page: Title, authors, affiliations, corresponding author contact, keywords
• Abstract: Up to 250 words summarizing purpose, methods, results, and conclusions
• Keywords: 4-6 terms for indexing
• Introduction: Problem context, research questions, contributions
• Related Work: Relevant prior research
• Methods/Approach: Design, implementation, or analytical approach
• Results: Findings, outputs, or system descriptions
• Discussion: Interpretation, limitations, implications
• Conclusion: Summary and future directions
• Acknowledgments: Funding sources, contributors, if any
• References: Full citations in a consistent style

Figures and Tables

• Submit high-resolution images (300 dpi minimum)
• Use formats: PNG, TIFF, or vector (PDF, EPS)
• Number figures and tables consecutively
• Include captions and legends

References

• Use a consistent citation style (APA, IEEE, or ACM format)
• Include DOIs when available
• Ensure all in-text citations have corresponding reference list entries

Disclosure Requirements

Authors must disclose:

• Funding sources and grant numbers
• Potential conflicts of interest
• Use of AI writing tools (see AI Use Policy)
• Ethical approvals for human subjects research
• Data availability statements

After Acceptance

Upon acceptance, authors will:

• Pay the Article Processing Charges (APC)
• Complete a publication agreement (copyright form)
• Submit final source files
• Review and approve proofs
• Provide ORCID iDs (encouraged)

Publication Fees & Open Access

Pearl Academic Publishing journals are fully Open Access. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY), ensuring your work is freely available to the global community immediately upon publication.

To cover the costs of editorial services and maintenance, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of $600 USD applies to accepted manuscripts. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication. There are no submission fees.
